weather and traffic. steve knows your forecast. >> in the fog is what our forecast is. in fact, its very low fog. sal will touch on that with an update. but its back. and that means cooler temps for some. although the high clouds are gone. inland temps will still be mild to warm. but a little cooler on the over night lows. seen a couple upper 30s and lower 50s. a lot more 40s due to the clear skies. we will start off with that fog and that will keep temperatures cooler. we go with a 62 for a high today. mostly cloudy for near the coast and bay. but still cooler inland under clear skies and coast and bay will have cooler conditions. it will be hazy sunshine inland because of the higher clouds are about out of the picture. but the fog is back. that means a little cooler pattern. 50s and 60s. a little mini summer pattern. inland temps still mid 70s. here is sal. >>> steve, good morning. happy friday to you. right now we are looking at the commute and its still looks pretty good in most areas. but the fog is thick. we just want to hammer it home you could be driving in some of this. slow you

to the south and east. here is sal. >>> steve, good morning. we are looking at a few things. all lanes of southbound interstate 880 have opened. police say a man in his 40s was driving a bmw on northbound 880 when he lost control and flipped over to the southbound side. he crashed into a man in his 70s driving a honda crv. both people died. it appears the driver of the bmw was going more than 100- mile an hour. let's take a live look at the bay bridge. the metering lights are on. if you are driving at the freeways westbound on 80 coming in from the east shore freeway it does look good. let's go to the maps now. actually let's go to brian flores. its a day that many people are excited for. no more waiting in long lines of traffic to open up at the caldecott. >> reporter: yeah no question about that. take a look behind me. there you have it. fourth bore officially opened. actually opened over the weekend but this is the first real test for the commuters. its already drawing hey train. from a financial standpoint it was under budget. for the first time in 50 years they will no longer have
. >>> steve, good morning. we are looking at the traffic that is mostly calm out there. there are a lot of people out there already driving somewhere. this is a look at the bay bridge toll plaza. its backed up for a five to ten minute delay before you make it on to the bridge. also we are looking at 880 north and southbound. that traffic is moving along very nicely as you drive through there. there are no major problems. there is a report of a car fire. northbound 87 and some three young men were seen running away from the car fire after it started. according to witnesses. so san jose police and chp are on the way. let's go back to the desk. >>> we are following developing news mismorning. santa clara county sheriffs deputies remain at the scene of a deadly shooting outside of a restaurant. it happened just before 10:00 last night on white road. this is in an area of east san jose. deputies found the male victim in the parking lot of the san jose taquria. there are no suspects at this time but since white road is a heavily traveled area, deputies open someone may have seen something. ja
am dave clark. steve paulson has the weather, steve? >>> thank you pamela and dave, 30s for many still a lot of high clouds, we are not as cold but it is still cold and the airport is cold and you can see some of the these higher clouds. not much in the bay of high tonight cloud deck and a lot of hazy skies and it is mild to warm actually. high clouds give way to 60s and a couple of lower 70s in also gilroy. there is not much going on here and we will look at the national weather service and we will have a few upper #0s here is sal. >>> you can see, northbound 101 traffic tax look good, no problems getting into and on the east shore freeway, it is lighter than it normally is and you will see some problems coming up. >>> oakland calls it an outrageous brazen shooting and a dozen people are caught under a hail of bullets under a stript barbecue -- under a street barbecue,. >> they were stuck in the next while walking with children. >> reporter: now the shooting unfolded at 96 and olive streets and it is notorious for violent crime. some may not have been the targets but got caught.

this thanksgiving morning. >>> i am dave cook, let's talk about weather, steve paulson has the day off but we have mark. >>> our weather for today, we are starting off with a lot of cloud cover and even some patchy fog reforming out in livermore more and concord. we have a threat of a shower but that's drifting closer to southern california. we are showing you 30s up in the northbound napa up in the 40s and right now clouds and fog this morning and by 3:00 here is the temperature rank, these forecast highs not a big change and livermore 65 and fairfield checking in at 65 degrees. a few more changes coming up and we will break down shower chances and the extended forecast. >>> thank you, we are still tracking traffic for you and we can tell you traffic is moving smoothly on most bay area freeways but that was not the case for the road on south kelly road, it was closed because a pedestrian was hit. the victim was standing next to a car before that accident occurred. that victim was rushed to the hospital and we have major injuries involved. we also want to talk about the bay bridge toll plaza and
